Environmental Stewardship
The PacBay campus is more than just a collection of buildings. Our thirty-seven acres include natural classrooms: eucalyptus groves, hiking trails, an amphitheater, a creek and student garden areas. Our students learn to be good stewards of God’s creation as they spend time experiencing it.
Outdoor education is integral to our middle and high school curriculum. Each fall the 6th grade attends a week-long Outdoor Education camp at Mission Springs near Santa Cruz where hands-on science and team-building activities foster a relationship with the Creator and promote good stewardship of His creation.
All middle school students participate in community service days for restoring natural environments and community gardening. Service locations include San Pedro Valley Park, Pedro Pt. Headlands, Linda Mar State Beach, and Pacifica Community Garden.
